A buncha plots I've wanted to make sometime.
-----------
Master Chief, John-117 | Halo- A long adventure PSL of him and another hero facing a massive enemy/tyrant/general/monster/god in another universe, or the other character's native universe. Perhaps he could serve as the mentor for a younger hero as he shares the ideals of saving as many lives as possible, but the spotlight would be for the younger hero, as John's own hero’s journey has concluded in some way (though for the Reclaimer trilogy it’ll be about regaining his own humanity, which this PSL in part could do).
- A world-building story of two characters exploring another world, something to create a sense of wonder and exploration. A colossal open field of nature and mountains to explore, an abandoned civilization, a fantasy world, a futuristic city, whatever. Again, something to put a sense of adventure by having the two of them see things to be amazed by, scared by, thrilled by, want to protect, etc.
- A shipping/romantic/loyalty PSL of him becoming bound to the service of a woman of superior rank or status, swearing for her protection and to serve her, and a strong bond forming between them. Of course, with the glimpses of John remembering Cortana, and being terrified he’s forming another bond like that after failing to protect her.
- A story involving John falling from grace, losing faith in humanity after all they did, and becoming a villain, mirroring the Didact's steps. Not necessarily on his own, as the "rogue theory" would suggest, but that he does it in a position of huge power: Having the power of the Forerunner, or becoming a Madokaverse witch/warlock. The trippy, disturbing imagery of the later option would be a blast to narrate, all of it would almost write itself.
- A scene akin to
Justice League Batman against Justice Lord Batman. Where a Master Chief from a continuity where he remains unquestioning of the UNSC's growingly brutal methods comes against another where he rebels, perhaps the canon one, again, if the "rogue theory" turns out to be true. Both sides are equally matched, and debate why did they pick their respective paths, perhaps the fight ending as soon as either of them hits a soft button (IE Cortana or Halsey).
Daisy, SPARTAN-023 | Halo- An emotional reconstruction arc for Luceti!Daisy. This is a character I've wanted to play again for a while now, but I wasn't sure how to do it while keeping her character development from Luceti. I want her in some sort of world where she gets to be with a friend, either from Luceti or canon, tells her everything that happened, and stays with him as she heals. It would be a more relationship-focused PSL.
- In contrast and related to the above, a sillier, light-hearted story where Daisy (canon or Luceti) gets to find the stranger bouts of the multiverse. Make new friends, be in new adventures, take care of others. Something akin to Alice in Wonderland, with the same purpose to remark how is she in a strange new world, free, and she doesn't know what to do with it, but where she can have fun.
- Second Homecoming. After her freedom from Luceti, she embarks on a journey to find her loved ones, first and foremost, as she wonders whenever if to return to her universe. Her family, her friends, her lover... even her original family. All, to see if they're alright. I'm far too tempted to have that only a handful remember her, some important ones not at all, to further force Daisy to adapt, add tragedy, and have her wonder her purpose in life after all she went through.
- On a more heartwarming one, Daisy gets to be an adoptive mom for a younger character. Perhaps they find themselves in the same peril, and perhaps Daisy is the more experienced one in regards to multiple universes. In turn, she cares of the younger character, and ensures not just his/her protection, but overall cares for him/her as is she were her mother, perhaps both of them sharing affection as time goes on and both miss their respective parents.
- Similar to the above for John, I had in mind some sort of story where Daisy (either canon or Luceti) utterly snaps after returning to her world and seeing even nastier shit done by humans, and out of the love for her families, her friends, her lover, and humanity attempting to replace her or treat her like a traitor, she falls from grace, and becomes a full-blown villain that has lost faith in humanity -- in the same case, with
huge resources at her disposal, either with magic or Forerunner tech.
Basically, after the sorts of shit they did to her, and realizing they'd want her back and that they have learned nothing about their crimes, her own wording would be "Why should I care about my own world?". An idea I get right now is that this could connect to Halo 5: Guardians, which states that both John and Agent Locke begin to doubt humanity's purposes and ONI's, and wonder what the hell are they fighting for. Hmm...
- Some sort of story connecting to Halo 5 as an AU, where she returns from all her strange trips. Literal ones. And comes across John and Locke with alternate purposes between the three of them. We might need a fourth Spartan, unless the Arbiter counts.
Ur-Didact, Shadow-Of-Sundered-Star | Halo- A short story set in the Forerunner-Human war, where he leads a colossal space battle against an opponent, perhaps set as an AU of a human in that era for a character to be in it. A strategic battle, and perhaps a personal duel, where the hero verbally chews the Didact out on focusing on them rather than on the Flood.
- A PSL where he’s a flat-out villain invading another universe with his own army, the Composer, or anything else. Post-Halo 4, he’s sent into another universe, but he becomes capable of rebuilding his forces to gather another army, perhaps with a share of Prometheans, and try to conquer it to prepare another campaign against humanity.
MISSING ICON - DRAW IT YOU LAZY BASTARD
Fateen NineLives/WandWaster/DumbLuck/MountainHole/SnailRacer/ShipMisplacer/Dragon-- [Ahem.] |
OCA funny-animal character hailing from a parodic fantasy universe that is a homage to both Looney Tunes and D&D games, a cheerful Chaotic Good thief-like character that nonetheless has to thrive and sometimes snark in an already crazy world.
While he’s compassionate towards the helpless and likes being a hero, he is also tabletop player logic incarnate, and will often try to pull off insane plans if it’s necessary, if it’s the only plan in mind, if he can fool his foe, or if it would be hilarious.
- A comedic/adventurous/light-hearted PSL where he and another dumbass are caught in a scheme to rob a noble, saved from being hanged when he suspects they tried to rob him of something far more valuable than the two idiots suspected, and thus make a dashing escape from the authorities. And set off to find whatever relic he and a dozen more jackasses are looking for.
- A story that begins with the characters' (humiliating) deaths, caused either by a loose falling elephant, choking on a pretzel, a heart-attack mid-karaoke, or flamingos. But, they strike a deal with a god to be let back into the world of the living, but they have to risk getting into the city of hell to steal something for him, and retrieve it back to said god. If only it were that easy.
Tomoe Mami | Puella Magi Madoka Magica- A story where Mami gets to have an apprentice, being her usual “BEING A MAGICAL GIRL IS MAGIC~” self where she tells her friend to have a name for her final attack and a themesong, but where the apprentice also finds out, slowly, that Mami is nowhere as stable or as clear-headed as she looks, and that she’s pretty much terrified and feeling alone and doesn’t want to be abandoned. She takes care of her people, but in the end her apprentice could leave her for any reasons whatsoever. Responsibility for another place, not sharing ideals, anything.
- A PSL where she, ironically enough, gets to be the apprentice of an older hero, regarding him/her as her father/mother, especially in the aftermath of the accident that took her parents’ lives. It could begin when Tomoe Mami is at the darkest moment of her story, perhaps realizing the nature of magical girls and witches, and the older character comes to her, comforts her, perhaps offers her a solution to prevent her from becoming a witch AND allows her to keep the ideals of saving others.
And since this is a canon created by that bastard Gen Urobuchi, it could end with either Tomoe Mami or her father/mother figure dead, and the other losing hope because of it.
- Similarly, a romantic PSL of Tomoe Mami in the aftermath of a Different Story, where she gets to meet a special someone, and after the things she went through, she remains a broken person, that is brought back together by him. While at first she is possessive (especially given... well, Kyouko being dead, and being away from her friends), she slowly overcomes her issues, becomes a better person, and her love for the person remains as strong, true, loyal.
It can end with some sort of ending where Tomoe Mami comes at peace with her death and her fate, and in fact grateful for having lived just a little longer to come to terms with all that happened, and being given another chance, even after her suicide. While she remains scared as hell of dying because she's still a terrified child at her core, she gets to die with dignity, and with a smile instead of despair as in the ways she has died.
Of course this ends with the most brutal heartbreak in history for the poor bastard that ends up being her boyfriend. You can tell John and Cortana is my favorite love story due to its loyalty and tragedy.
- Mami gets to mentor Sakura Kinomoto. However, this is after her own death, so this in part serves for Mami to regain her ideals of saving others by having it reinforced by Sakura, and gets to die peacefully in the end, knowing that it was not wrong. In the end, Sakura will get to save everyone.
Konata Izumi | Lucky Star- A comedic/light-hearted story of her becoming a witch/wizard’s apprentice, and pretty much having the same sort of relationship she’d have with her teacher Ms. Kuroi, but with MAGIC. And possibly adventures.
- A friendship story between her and another manga/anime fan, but with a contrasting personality of her being the most outgoing of the two of them while the other is more solitary, and maybe teaching one-another things on how to be outgoing, while the other can teach Konata how to be more settled, or something else.
Various- A short AU PSL of characters having normal lives in our current era, where their adventures are the result of a tabletop roleplaying campaign, much akin to “DM of the Rings” or “Darths and Droids”, and thus their personalities in canon influence what decisions do they take if they were dorks. And probably with the rails of the canon being nuked out of existence.
- A short PSL of a medieval battle between barbarians and either roman soldiers or anglo-saxons, with the evens of a volley of arrows, shield walls, cavalry charges, personal duels, in all its glory and horror. Canon characters, OCs, AUs, all valid. I want to write something
really violent set during those eras and battles.
Would possibly play any of the characters of
Vikings: Lagertha, Floki, Ragnar...
